Anna Maria Raspolli Galletti is Full Professor of Industrial Chemistry at the Department of Chemistry and Industrial Chemistry of University of Pisa, Italy.
Head of the research laboratory “Greencat” (Green catalysis beyond petroleum age), University of Pisa.
Member of the Italian Chemical Society (SCI) and vice-president of SCI Industrial Chemistry Division.
Referee for industrial research projects at the European Union and Italian Ministry of University and Research.
Her main research interests are in the fields of the optimization of many types of catalytic processes of industrial interest. In particular she has a strong expertise on the catalytic and biocatalytic conversion of renewable resources for the production of intermediates, polymers and biofuels. Moreover, sustainable and safe reaction approaches were studied for the optimization of many industrial processes, particular attention being devoted to the improvement of process and product safety. She coordinated research groups in many basic and industrial research projects funded by the European Union, the Italian Ministry of University and Research, and local government and European and Italian private companies
